Kevin Bakhurst, Controller, BBC News 24 – London

Citizen journalism entered a lot of people’s consciousness with the images that appeared this week last year around the London tube bombings. Ten days ago the BBC committed that its editors would blog on their editorial policy. Citizens are much more involved in the news process these days.
