Next week I will be at World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos for the first time and will, I hope, be blogging daily and getting back to more of the video interviews. I have just been through the agenda as there is a host of pre-booking that happens if you want to get into the interesting sessions and evening receptions. One thing that struck me going through the programme is how many sessions are on topics of web or society 2.0 so at CEO level the message seems to be getting through or at least onto more agendas. The World Economic Forum is also making efforts to encourage participants at the Forum to use their blog to exchange ideas. Jeff Jarvis of Buzz Machine has been invited to get this effort going (and explains here what he is doing and the fact that he’s not a tux-kind-of-guy) as have a number of others so if you are interested it may be worth watching http://www.weforum.org/en/events/AnnualMeeting2007/DavosConversation/index.htm from Tuesday of next week for 5 days to see how many global CEOs dip their toes into social media. All posts from the event should be tagged Davos 07 by the way.

Looks like good stuff. Not sure whose idea it was re. the tagging choice but a really important point to remember. It adds major value to organising info on the web and is soooo easy. Look forward to it.
