Many of the bloggers attending the World Economic Forum got together last night for a ‘nightcap’. The lighting was bad but in this quick clip you can see Jeff Jarvis, Loïc Le Meur, Arianna Huffington and I think Richard Sambrook in the background. Also present were Dave Sifry, CEO Technorati, Sky News’s Adam Boulton and many more so hopefully this WEF Davos event will have a much stronger blog presence. I guess time will tell but there is certainly no lack of firepower here.

I think a lot of people would argue that the people reporting on the event posess more power of influence over “the people” than many of the leaders speaking and attending the event!

I think there is a lot of truth in that. I also think the WOrld Economic Forum probably think that’s the case too sometimes and maybe that is why they are opening up more this year.
