Reality TV and YouTube were made for each other. Thanks to my children I get to watch more than my fair share of reality and talent shows and enjoy them more than I suspect I should let on. But even they cannot watch all of them, though this does not mean I miss those one or two gems that ocassionally give the whole genre meaning. A glance at yesterday’s ‘Top Rated’ and ‘Most Watched’ section on YouTube was a real catch up. I got to see the Lionel Messi ‘hand of God’ goal for Barcelona, the Robert Kubica crash at the Candian GP (only watchable when you know he walked away with only minor injuries) and then these two acts from Britain’s Got Talent. Who needs a video recorder? How would you know where all the good stuff was unless the crowd pointed it out?
