“Someone like Me”

Two years ago our Edelman Trust Barometer identified that “a person like me” was becomming as trusted as so-called ‘experts’ and people of ‘authority’ with opinion formers. This year we reported that “a person like me” was more trusted on information about a company than the CEO of that company! This chart from Forrester (hat tip to Amelia Torode, of what I guess is online consumers, says the same, (though the question they asked is a little confusing/leading).
