Saw this terrific biopic on the life of Joe Strummer and the Clash last night. I had no idea his BBC World broadcasts had been so successful. Brilliant portrait of a complex man and a truly great band. A must see. Here’s White Riot, performed in Victoria Park in 1978 when they were at their snarling best.
